ASABA- Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE), Asaba Chapter has elected Engr. P.G Fuludu as the new Chairman to pilot the affairs of the Institution in the State.
This was made known to our reporter on Saturday at the conference Hall of Engr. D. A. Umukoro, Ministry of Works, Asaba, Delta State Capital, With the inaugural ceremony at Orchid Hotel, DBS Road, Asaba.
After a keenly contested elections, the following Executives emerged: Chairman NICE, Asaba Chapter, Engr. P. G Fuludu, Vice Chairman NICE, Engr. S. A. Aghagba, General Secretary NICE, Engr. Dennis Ojianya, Assistant General Secretary NICE, Etaghene Oghor, Technical Secretary NICE, Engr. Charles Guanah, Publicity/Welfare Secretary NICE, Engr. Eric Chukwu, Financial Secretary NICE, Engr. Marypaul Akabeli, Treasurer NICE, Engr. N. Chiadika.
The Newly inaugurated Chairman, NICE Asaba Chapter, Engr. P. G Fuludu Stated that the Institution was first inaugurated in the year 2017, precisely in the Month of March, that the division during his tenure will strive to promote professionalism amongst its members.
He Stated that NICE as a division of Nigeria Society of Engineers under his care will carryout seminars, Industrial visits, Technical Paper presentation and many others in the State to advance the Professional Skills of members.
Engr. Fuludu, a seasoned Director in Delta State Ministry of Works, Civil Engineering Department Commended the past Executives, Immediate past Chairman of the Institution, Engr. Onichabor Alex Ifeanyi, Hon. Commissioner for Works, Engr. James
Augoye, ably represented by the permanent Secretary of the Ministry and other notable dignitaries that graced the occasion on the support towards making the occasion a success.
